Academy Arcanist (Blog tour)

Welcome back my friends to a new blog tour by the lovely Dave from The writeReads , in this tour we join author Shami Stovall in her new fantasy series (Academy Arcanist).
So thank you both for including me in this tour and i look forward to joining you again in another tour.

Hopes. Dreams. And literal nightmares out to kill a young boy

” Gray Lexly, son of a candlemaker, wants to escape his life of old-world technologies and study at the prestigious Astra Academy, a school for arcanists—those who can wield magic. But Gray has a major problem. Every night, as he sleeps, he’s visited by monsters. When they injure Gray in his dreams, he wakes with the same wounds in real life…
On the night Gray might finally die in his nightmares, he is saved by the kind and mysterious Professor Helmith, a powerful arcanist. She offers to protect Gray and invites him to attend Astra Academy.
Before that can happen, Gray must bond with a mystical creature to become an arcanist himself.
And when trouble finds Professor Helmith, Gray must become powerful enough to help her and fend off the terrible nightmares, before it’s too late”

Its been a while since i read a fantasy book since most of the time the story line is similar with few minor changes…. the basic story is still here but the author has managed to create a beautiful world with a solid background which made the story all that interesting and i loved every bit of it.

Gray lexly represents all of us who wish to escape the real world into a magical one full of adventure and a journey to discover oneself.
It was a pleasure to go on this journey with him and his twin Sorin even if at times i wanted to smack Gray for being more clingy than a girlfriend to his brother…. but am glad that he grew more confident in himself…
I honestly can’t wait to read the next book to continue the adventure with Gray and his friends.

Now to My rating which is
☆ ☆ ☆ ☆

Again thank you Dave and Shami for the chance to be part of this tour and i look forward to reading more of your books in the future.

Till next time my lovelies
