The Other Side Of The Whale Road (blog tour)

Welcome to a new Blog tour by the lovely Dave from The writeReads , in this tour we join writer K.A Hayton in her debut novel ” The other side of the Whale Road” .
So thank you both for including me in this tour and i look forward to joining you again in another tour.

” Being the master of my fate and the captain of my soul”

“When his mum burns down their house on the Whitehorse estate, sixteen-year-old Joss is sent to live in a sleepy Suffolk village.
Little did he know that the little town is steeped with history and that a little bike accident will end up transporting him 1000 years into the past where a war is looming on an Anglo-Saxon village.
Can Joss navigate the past safely and will he be able to return to his present?”

I have read this book in one sitting, the writing style was so smooth and easy that I didn’t feel the time passing.
The story itself was nice, with a fast pace and little action, which I wish there was more to it especially in the “past” arc as I felt the whole war passed in few minutes…. but as a debut novel, it is good and I hope that the author would make her next book more enriched and is not afraid to build the plot more ^^
I would recommend the book for those who enjoy a historical time-traveling story and want a nice short story during those rainy days.

My rating is
☆ ☆ ☆ ☆

Again thank you Dave, Mrs. Hayton and Eye/Lightning Books for providing me with a copy of the book

Till next time my lovelies.

Love Muzi.
